LOVE #4♡:DON'T BE AFRAID TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST.

Sometimes we're afraid to preach the gospel,especially to people who are close to us probably because we don't want them to feel attacked or we fear their rejection.

We fail to understand that us not preaching the gospel to them means that we don't really love them because in this life which isn't eternal,there is one precious gift that leads to eternal joy,that is salvation.

Every time I'm afraid of rejection and mockery from people,I think of Jesus.He was beaten,abused, and mocked to enable us to aquire salvation.And I, a person who has tasted the sweetness of having a relationship with God,am afraid to share the good news and enable the people I love to aquire that same gift.

I also remember the apostles such as paul who endured so much persecution so as to preach the gospel of Christ.

Nothing is as important as being in a relationship with Him.

And that knowledge should drive you to want to tell more people of the goodness of being with God and living as His child.

Here are some verses to remember everytime we are afraid or ashamed to share the gospel. 

♡Luke 9:23-26

And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. ²⁵ For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? ²⁶ For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in His glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

♡Matthew 10:32-33

Every one therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven.But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven.

♡Romans 10:8-9

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); ⁹ because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

♡Matthew 10:28

~And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.~

♡Joshua 1:9

Be strong & courageous, do not be frightened & do not be dismayed for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
